OH THE PLACES YOU WILL GO

2011 NFL DRAFT :: KC CHIEFS

Hayden has been so excited about the NFL draft. He had a great time wearing his AFC West championship KC jersey around town this weekend!

EASTER 2011

Easter for my family involved some late nights, a new church, and a sick Hayden; therefore not too many photographs were taken. Deal with it 🙂

GO FAST LIKE A RACE CAR

Hayden has recently transitioned from Toy Story to cars. I will probably get a ticket one of these days from Hayden telling me every time we drive to “go fast like a racecar!” Anyways, here’s some photographs of Hayden playing with his cars. Maybe Cars 2 will be the first movie Hayden sees in the theatre.

OH THE PLACES YOU WILL GO :: LYLA

I had ta great time shooting 4 month old Lyla this past Friday! She was a great baby, full of energy and cute as can be. She was quite the trooper and was so excited that her daddy was back from sea!

If interested in booking a baby session, email me today for our Spring Special: firstkissproductions@gmail.com

A WALK TO REMEMBER

I love the time change. It’s nice to get home and be able to go on nightly walks with Alicia and Hayden. It’s one of our favorite things to do, I know, kinda boring, but it’s just our thing. I brought my camera along so I can have memories of these walks, Hayden is growing so fast 😦

Hayden likes to find his house

Time to get clean!

SAN DIEGO CHILDREN PHOTOGRAPHY :: HAYDEN @ WINDANSEA

I had a good time shooting the mini sessions last week that I decided to go back the next day with Hayden.  It was a cold / rainy day but Hayden loves the camera and wanted to take pictures for his mommy. So here they are . . .

OH THE PLACES YOU WILL GO :: JEZEBEL

Jezebel’s mommy and daddy brought her down to the beach for a quick photoshoot! She wasn’t afraid to get sandy and had the cutest beach outfit on to complete the scene. I work with Jezebel’s mommy Jewelie and was blessed to finally meet her beautiful daughter.  We had about a 15 minute window before the tide came up but still got some good shots.

OH THE PLACES YOU WILL GO :: BABY NOAH

I had a great time this past weekend shooting baby Noah and his beautiful family. I stole the ribbon idea from Malia so it would only be right for me to give her credit. Noah was a great baby! He stayed awake for the entire shoot and was mesmerized by the lights on the camera.

SAN DIEGO FILM PHOTOGRAPHER :: HAYDEN

As mentioned in an earlier post I am having a love affair with my film camera. Until Nikon releases the D800 I think my film camera will be my camera of choice for all my personal photoshoots. I took Hayden this past weekend to go see the Imagination Movers. I didn’t think they would let cameras in and since we parked 4 blocks away I didn’t want to risk getting turned back so I left it in the car. They did allow cameras and I missed out. Luckily we took a bunch of pics beforehand for Alicia’s birthday present. So after 3 days of waiting for them to be developed they’re finally ready, and worth the wait in my opinion . . .

SPONGE BOB HAYDEN

I am not a fan of Sponge Bob. Not at all. But someone got Hayden this hat, I think it was his friend Hunter, and I think it is adorable on him. I’ve tried many times to get a photograph of wearing it, he finally let me. I have the cutest baby boy in the world. Sorry to brag!

SEA WORLD SAN DIEGO PHOTOGRAPHS :: HAYDEN

I had a meeting this past weekend with a friend from high school regarding shooting her wedding next year. She had blessed our family with a bunch of free passes to Sea World a couple of weeks ago while my parents and brother were in town. I unfortunately was unable to go, however there was an extra ticket left over so I took Hayden back a couple of days later. I was so happy he got to meet Elmo and Cookie Monster. He was afraid to let them get too close but then he had a dance off with them and showed Sesame Street that they couldn’t match up with the HOTDOG DANCE! Thanks again for the tickets Bethany!

SAN DIEGO BABY PORTRAITS :: FINLEY

My 2nd nephew Finley Aaron Cash was born on December 15. I got to spend time with him and his family again a couple days before Christmas and do some Christmas pics. Hayden had a blast holding his cousin and terrorizing their cat. Congrats Luke and Aubrey on your adorable baby boy!

SAN DIEGO CHILDREN’S PHOTOGRAPHY :: NATHAN

I went to High School with Colleen and had the the honor of shooting her wedding a few years back. A few weeks ago we met up in Balboa Park to shoot her adorable baby boy Nathan. It was great seeing her and Jeff again and being able to help stop time through photographs for them as I personally understand just how quickly time goes by.

HAYDEN MONSTER IS 2 !!

I got reprimanded today for not yet having posted adorable pictures of Hayden on his 2nd birthday. Here you go Uncle Raulito . . .

HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY HAYDEN

2 years ago God gave me the best gift in the world. He is my world, words can’t describe the joy he brings to me and so many others. I love you Hayden, I truly wish you could stay this age forever!

What’s mommy say?
Hayden: “No no no no no no”

What’s daddy say?
Hayden: “I Love You”

We all know Hayden has the best mommy in the world, however he loves to listen to Daddy’s great teaching.

NEVER GROW UP

I got to choose Hayden’s Halloween costume this year. It was a tough decision, how do you choose between Elmo, Roosters, and Handy Manny (3 of Hayden’s favorites). Instead I went with Peter Pan, although he has yet to watch that movie. I did so for the reason that I simply want his to stop growing up. Hayden’s 2nd birthday is 2 weeks away, so for 1 night I got to dress my baby up and pretend as though he’d always stay this little.

Hayden’s Mimi and Papa came over for Halloween. They’ve been living on a private road in Bonita for so long that it’s been years since they’ve seen a trick or treater. Welcome to the madness of Eastlake Halloween where kids come in groups of 25, it’s pretty crazy. Hayden went with his gal pal Skyler who is moving next week. They got to have one last adventure together . . .

SNEAK PEEK :: HAYDEN’S HALLOWEEN COSTUME

Here’s a quick sneak peek at who Hayden will be for Halloween.

HALLOWEEN SAN DIEGO :: PUMPKIN PATCH

As I’m listening to Hayden scream weeeeeeee with the pig in the Geico commercial I can’t help but thank God for my little prince. He’s even better then the E-Trade baby! So we took Hayden to pick out his Halloween pumpkin down in Bonita with his Nanny. We had an amazing time, hayrides, pumpkins and a petting zoo! We also found out that Hayden isn’t allergic to hay. Anyways, here are the photographs from our adventure, now if the Chiefs would have won this weekend then it truly would have been perfect. Stupid refs! Seriously!

Hayden, Alicia and Nanny

The pic on the right is the face Hayden makes when you tell him to smile, I LOVE IT!

CHOOSING HAYDEN’S HALLOWEEN COSTUME

So this Saturday Alicia and I will be taking Hayden to get his Halloween costume and go pick out some pumpkins at a pumpkin patch with a good ole hay ride as well. Our biggest problem will be choosing what Hayden will be for Halloween. Hayden wants to be a cow, however Alicia isn’t thrilled with that idea so it will be interesting to see what we come up with. In the mean time I found him these cute Skeleton pajamas at Kohls. If you see him in pics at the end of the month in this same outfit then you can assume we were unsuccessful this upcoming weekend!

BABY ANGEL WINGS :: HAYDEN

There’s so much fun stuff to buy during Halloween time. Hayden and I found some angel wings at Wal-Mart. I knew I would have about a 2 minute window with him wearing them so i had to just make him laugh and shoot away. Here are the pics:

CORONADO BEACH PHOTOGRAPHER :: SABA, NANA, & HAYDEN

We took Hayden to coronado beach this past sunday for some pics with his Saba and Nana. Hayden said in the car he wanted to see seagulls, and dolphins. I thought yeah right about the dolphins. I was wrong, when we first arrived we saw dolphins playing in surf really close to the shoreline. Unfortenetly I didn’t have my zoom lens on me and by the time we walked across the sand they were playing further out. Hayden had a blast playing in the tide pools with Nana and chasing Saba with his seaweed. Here are some pics to preserve the memories.

Hayden and me saying bye bye

A FUTURE AND A HOPE

This is probably my all time favorite photo. It is a photo I had always had in mind, the teddy bear was mine when I was a baby. He is now stored in a plastic case as he is really fragile. I was worried that Hayden would destroy Wilbur but that was a risk I was willing to take. I love the story this image depicts, to me its about friendship as well as looking forward to all the great things God has in store for Hayden. I believe this photograph will always keep Hayden our baby, no matter how fast he grows up, I’ll always have this to take me back in time.

BORN TO BE A CHIEFS FAN

Hayden is ready for his Chiefs to remain undefeated! He thinks it’s funny how Phillip Rivers cried more then him last week.

MISSING HAYDEN

I’m up in Kansas City and I’m missing my Hayden. He’ll come with Daddy in a few years. Anyways, here’s a quick few pics we took before I left . . .
